Role Summary:

The Product Marketing team is tasked with crafting effective positioning and messaging for Experian's products and services that are clear, memorable, and impactful. This function acts as a strategic ally to promote Experian's offerings in the marketplace, educating clients and integrating strategic messaging into engaging content and initiatives that foster customer interaction, acquisition, and adoption.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Product Marketing and oversee a portfolio of products within the Experian Financial Services division. You will collaborate closely with Product Management teams, synthesizing insights from market trends, competitive analysis, and our product strategy. Your role will involve launching new products through comprehensive go-to-market strategies, value propositions, messaging frameworks, and training for sales teams. You will engage with various stakeholders across the organization and in the marketplace to enhance awareness and demand for our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape, buyer personas, and competitive dynamics.
  • Facilitate the creation and upkeep of essential materials, including a repository of internal and external product content (e.g., presentations, case studies, videos, product sheets, whitepapers).
  • Communicate compelling product messaging that resonates with target customers.
  • Collaborate with teams across engineering, product management, marketing, and sales to execute go-to-market initiatives and drive product adoption.
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and gather client feedback to derive insights that refine product positioning and messaging, providing relevant recommendations to inform sales and product strategies.
  • Potentially lead one individual contributor in this role.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, strategy, or a related field.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS marketing within the FinTech or financial services industries.
  • Proven track record of working with technical or complex products as a trusted partner to both product and sales teams.
  • Able to navigate a geographically distributed organization where a significant amount of interaction occurs online.
