As a member of the Product team, you will be responsible for defining and documenting detailed product and business requirements for new features and enhancements, covering functional, non-functional, and reporting aspects. Key Responsibilities of the Lead Technical Product Strategist:

  • Product Roadmap Development: Spearhead the creation and management of the product roadmap for a new user experience/interface for an API; craft user stories and prioritize requirements while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept and consumer validation through to design, implementation, launch, maintenance, and performance analysis.
  • Data-Driven User Insights: Design a user experience that leverages data analytics to identify potential customers in the market or assist those actively seeking products.
  • User Story Articulation: Collaborate with agile Scrum teams to develop clear and concise user stories that reflect user needs.
  • Collaboration with UX and Design: Work closely with UX and Design teams to establish comprehensive UX and design specifications, including information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and visual elements.
  • Focus on Customer Experience: Advocate for user research initiatives, ensuring that insights from users inform the product development and UX strategies.
  • Integration Management: Lead third-party integrations to support strategic partnerships and serve as the primary product liaison for implementation efforts.
  • Collaborate effectively with various business units to define, align, scope, prioritize, implement, launch, and continuously enhance product features.
  • Make informed strategic decisions regarding functionality, resources, and timelines, effectively communicating with stakeholders and technology teams to manage changes.
  • Ensure that products and features provide an optimal user experience across all customer interaction points, including websites, mobile applications, and communication channels.
  • Manage the product backlog for assigned agile teams, prioritizing tasks, facilitating grooming sessions, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, conduct SWOT analyses of competitors, track industry trends, and synthesize this information to guide product strategy.
  • Address all product-related issues raised by operations or partners efficiently, keeping relevant teams informed of progress.
  • In collaboration with relevant teams, establish and implement operational standards, processes, and procedures for the ongoing management of these products.

Qualifications for the Lead Technical Product Strategist:

  • At least 5 years of experience in product management or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Experience working within an Agile Scrum development framework.
  • Proven ability to articulate clear and concise user stories.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
