Position Overview:
Marketing Specialist

Role Summary:
Under minimal supervision, develop and disseminate marketing and production resources for various departments within the organization; perform related tasks as required.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Director of Marketing and International Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and distribute marketing collateral in both digital and print formats;
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to produce product documentation;
  • Create and/or coordinate digital presentations, including PowerPoint slides, instructional videos, and product animations;
  • Engage with field sales teams and agents to address their marketing requirements;
  • Manage and execute printed material orders through a fulfillment portal;
  • Work with external consultants on various outsourced initiatives;
  • Assist in organizing all trade show-related activities;
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure effective operations;
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications:
  • Any combination equivalent of, but not limited to, the following:
Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
  • Experience in a marketing role within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing principles, methods, and practices;
  • Proficient in software for creating marketing materials, such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator;
  • Strong command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro;
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities;
  • Ability to interact positively with staff, vendors, customers, and contractors;
  • Basic understanding of the functionality of the company's products.
Physical Requirements:
  • Most tasks are performed indoors in a controlled office environment;
  • Ability to work at a desk for a minimum of 50% of the workday; walking and/or standing may be required for the remainder;
  • Requires manual dexterity, writing, sitting, standing, walking, repetitive motions, listening, and visual acuity;
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, and multi-line phones;
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and light equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 40 pounds without assistance;
  • Ability to perform essential job functions as defined.
