Responsibilities and Duties
  • You will be accountable for engaging and educating new and existing members on our Surgery Care offering, ensuring they understand the benefits and value proposition.
  • You will advocate for members, coordinating appointments and travel, and assisting with venue selection to ensure seamless care experiences.
  • You will collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for members.
  • You will assist members in understanding their medical provider options and address concerns related to medical care and scheduling.
  • You will maintain accurate documentation of member interactions, including concerns, actions taken, and outcomes.
  • You will follow up, resolve, and document issues requiring further investigation, routing inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • You will work with sensitive information, maintaining Personal Protected Information (PPI) requirements.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social services, public health, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service and/or sales enablement roles.
  • Ability to empathize with members throughout their medical journey.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively organize work activities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare procedures, and insurance systems is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
