Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Sales Engineer to support our Industrial Sensor Division. This role operates independently from a home office, allowing for flexibility and autonomy in managing sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical sales support while maintaining existing client relationships and exploring new business opportunities.
- Engage with OEMs and distributors to identify project-based opportunities where our products can be integrated into final systems.
- Collaborate closely with independent representative firms to enhance sales and marketing efforts within the designated territory.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve quarterly objectives, along with a weekly action plan to meet sales targets.
- Contribute valuable regional sales insights and recommendations to inform the company’s strategic direction, while actively participating in trade shows and industry events.
- Continuously enhance industry knowledge through educational opportunities and professional networking.
- Travel within the territory is expected to comprise 50% or more of monthly responsibilities.

Job Duties:
- Conduct visits to OEMs and end-users, including current clients.
- Assess territory performance and identify target markets for new business opportunities.
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive territory sales strategy.
- Manage both national and regional accounts effectively.
- Maintain and expand the customer database.
- Collaborate with distribution partners and provide monthly promotional support.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials and promote products through advertising and public relations efforts.
- Offer product feedback and insights to corporate R&D for future development.
- Cultivate relationships with independent sales representatives and distributors.
- Provide necessary technical and sales support as required.

Required Skills:
- Proven ability to work independently in both sales and technical capacities.
- Exceptional presentation skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Experience working in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated skills in closing new business deals.

Required Experience:
- Previous sales experience in the industrial sensor sector.
- A minimum of five years of sales experience within the industrial domain.
- Basic understanding of electrical or industrial sensor technologies.
- Experience in solution-based selling and management-level sales.
- Familiarity with selling to end-users and/or the distribution marketplace.

Position Type:
Full-Time / Regular

Compensation:
Base Annual Salary of $80,000 plus commission based on sales performance.
