Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Quality Engineer to support new product development. The successful candidate will be a primary interface between design teams and internal/external manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IC design teams to define product requirements.
- Own specific products from feasibility stage to high volume production.
- Work with external OSATs, wafer assembly, fab, and die prep module engineering teams to establish product manufacturing flows.
- Coordinate closely with quality/reliability, materials development, internal and external silicon integration, fabs, and OSATs on specific materials needs and supply-chain issues and logistics.
- Manage engineering build planning, forecasting, execution, including daily troubleshooting.
- Lead cross-functional teams as needed to resolve product and integrated process issues.
- Perform reliability qualification and product release to mass production.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience (or MS and 3 years) in semiconductor technology.
- BS Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in Silicon Validation and Product Engineering of ASICs/MEMS, including analysis of data from manufacturing Automated Test Equipment (ATE), bench, and system functional tests.
- Experience with scripting, data collection/analysis, debug, and resolution.
- Knowledge of ATE and DFT design and operation.
- Strong OSAT project management and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with Failure Analysis and Yield Enhancement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PCB design tools.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with LGA and QFN multi-die packaged MEMS sensor products.
- Experience with ATE and wafer probe testing.
- Experience with Design of Experiments for optimization of MEMS sensors.
