About the Role

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Chief of Staff to join our team. As a strategic leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CISO to develop and implement the organization's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the cybersecurity team, ensuring efficient execution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage complex cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget and quality standards, and successful outcomes.
  • Policy Development: Develop, review, and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks, ensuring the protection of the organization's information assets and minimizing potential threats.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the cybersecurity team and other departments, facilitating effective communication, collaboration, and issue resolution.
  • Incident Response: Coordinate and manage the response to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely resolution, documentation, and lessons learned.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and implement cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees at all levels, promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cybersecurity initiatives and operations, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
