Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Air Force Operations Administrator.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with the Department of Defense (DoD) across several key areas, including Education Management, Unit Deployment/Readiness Management, Enlisted and Officer Performance Report Management, Supplies Management, Space Allocation Management, Executive Support Services, and Manpower and Personnel Management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Education Management:
- Organize, implement, and assess the training and professional development initiatives for assigned personnel.
- Ensure compliance with the Air Force training program, facilitating initial, recurring, and annual training as necessary.
- Collaborate with functional organizations to optimize training procurement.
- Maintain and update the training budget and obligation forecasts.
- Communicate training opportunities to the target audience.
- Oversee the accuracy of employee training records and ensure completeness.
Unit Deployment/Readiness Management:
- Support the unit's deployment and readiness initiatives.
- Prepare documentation for deployment and redeployment processes.
- Monitor personnel and equipment readiness.
- Analyze emergency action messages and propose solutions.
Performance Report Management:
- Maintain and update military performance reports and promotion programs.
- Provide regular updates on the status of performance report processing.
Supplies Management:
- Gather and document requirements for supplies and equipment.
- Process requisitions and conduct inventory checks.
Space Allocation Management:
- Track and report on organizational space utilization and requirements.
Executive Support Services:
- Provide comprehensive executive support, including report preparation and correspondence management.
- Schedule meetings and manage calendars.
Manpower and Personnel Management:
- Coordinate personnel management activities and maintain accurate organizational rosters.
- Assist in developing and maintaining office plans and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 6 years directly related to DoD operations in the specified areas.
Work Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical & Mental Qualifications:
- Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged sitting, typing, and communication.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 15 lbs.
Security Clearance:
- Candidates must undergo a Federal background investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Travel:
- Some travel may be necessary.
Hours:
- Standard work hours may vary, with potential for additional hours or weekend work as needed.
Salary Range:
- The estimated salary range is $70,000 - $110,000 annually, subject to adjustments based on various factors.
