About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead our Product Value Stream team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for orchestrating production planning, supply chain management, quality assurance, and logistics to meet critical program milestones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operations that sit on the program IPT.
  • Own the manufacturing build plan, ensuring manufacturing/test readiness, producibility, MRL, and pre-production on all development programs.
  • Assess sub-tier capability to support production rate and develop action plans where required.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites, suppliers, and engineering to develop a plan to achieve design-to-cost targets.
  • Drive rapid closure to issues as they arise, including quality, sub-tier, and operational excellence issues.
  • Support capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks, derive solutions, and develop budgets to drive optimal production rates.
  • 10% domestic travel as needed.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience with development programs and new product introduction.
  • Experience in Quality, Operations, or Supply Management.
  • Demonstrated a history of achieving business results by leading a cross-functional team.
  • Successful history and experience managing teams, programs, and projects through influence.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategies to achieve cost and delivery performance targets.
  • Experience with Aerospace manufacturing and supply value stream.
  • Experience with SI&OP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP Systems (SAP preferred).
