Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing well-engineered mechanical systems, modifications to existing production equipment, and test and special process systems. You will work closely with our Engineering Manager and production personnel to ensure the smooth and effective transition of new or changed products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including flexible shafts and associated components
  • Modify existing production equipment and processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • Test and validate new and existing products and processes
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings and specifications
  • Collaborate with production personnel to ensure successful product launches and process improvements
Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in mechanical design and system development
  • Proficient with SolidWorks 3D modeling package
  • Knowledge of basic GD&T and pneumatics
  • Strong sense of urgency and time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to clearly communicate information and ideas both verbally and in writing
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • 60% hands-on with 40% office environment
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, crouch, and walk
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
