The Product Operations Lead serves as the pivotal link for all Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality activities across the entire product life cycle within the Product Value Stream. This role is charged with orchestrating production planning, supply chain management, quality assurance, and logistics to meet critical program milestones. From seamlessly transitioning products to the factory floor to driving on-time delivery and ensuring the highest standards of product quality, the Product Operations Lead plays a key role in supporting rate-readiness activities and achieving cost targets for assembled products, catering to both military and regional customers.

What You Will Do

  • Primary POC for operations that sit on the program IPT.
  • Owner of the manufacturing build plan ensuring manufacturing/test readiness, producibility, MRL, and pre-production on all development programs
  • Assess sub-tier capability to support production rate, and develop action plans where required
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites, suppliers, and engineering to develop a plan to achieve design-to-cost targets
  • Drive rapid closure to issues as they arise, including quality, sub-tier, and operational excellence issues
  • Supports capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks, derive solutions, and develop budgets to drive optimal production rates.
  • 10% domestic travel as needed. Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with development programs and new product introduction.
  • Experience in Quality, Operations, or Supply Management.
  • Demonstrated a history of achieving business results by leading a cross-functional team.
  • Successful history and experience managing teams, programs, and projects through influence.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategies to achieve cost and delivery performance targets.
  • Experience with Aerospace manufacturing and supply value stream.
  • Experience with SI&OP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP Systems (SAP preferred).

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
