Position Features:

  • Clinical and Administrative Responsibilities Split: 70/30
  • National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Approved Facility
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team comprising 1 Physician and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APP)
  • Outpatient Care Focused
  • Established Patient Base
  • Shared On-Call Responsibilities Among Providers
  • Proximity to Subspecialty Services and Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, a 304-bed facility offering comprehensive emergency, trauma, and specialty care

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Preferred candidates are Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Family/Internal Medicine or a strong desire to take on a leadership role
  • Commitment to advancing rural healthcare
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population
  • Interest in chronic disease management and preventive healthcare
