KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Lead Recovery Counselor, you will be integral to our treatment approach. You will provide direct patient services, including individual and group therapy.

Your role involves collaborating with clients to develop tailored care plans that guide them through their recovery journey.

You will oversee documentation to ensure it meets the highest standards and that clients receive services aligned with Fairland Recovery Center's values.


SPECIFIC DUTIES
The Lead Recovery Counselor operates in an outpatient environment, delivering both individual and group therapy.
You will ensure that every client is assessed and offered the necessary services.

Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation and billing practices in accordance with all organizational policies, including collaborative documentation and timely discharges.

Engage in case management and clinical tasks, including accepting appropriate referrals, conducting assessments, and providing individual, family, and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention based on treatment plans.

Take responsibility for client and referral source satisfaction by responding to inquiries promptly and maintaining communication with referral sources as needed.

Foster individual accountability and recovery by utilizing evidence-based practices, conducting ongoing assessments, referring clients to suitable internal and external resources, involving families, seeking supervision, and developing comprehensive care plans based on individual strengths and needs.

Complete additional tasks as assigned that are appropriate for the role.

QUALIFICATIONS:


A Master's degree and eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.


Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed with three years of post-licensure experience. Proficient computer skills. LAPC's, LMSW's, or LAMFT's will be considered.
A Master's degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with the internet and Microsoft Word.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team and work harmoniously with other staff members.
Supervision is provided and required.
Must possess strong computer/software/internet skills.
Comfortable in a setting that requires clear communication.
Excellent communication and follow-through abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain professionalism.
Ability to uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding healthcare treatment.
If in recovery, a minimum of two years of sobriety is required.
