Job Description

Leschaco Inc, a leading global logistics company, is seeking a highly skilled Regional Key Account Manager to join its team in Houston, TX. This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional to develop and implement account plans for key clients, drive business growth, and lead negotiation of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Planning: Develop and implement account plans for key clients, ensuring alignment with regional strategy and growth opportunities.
  • Commercial Liaison: Serve as the primary commercial contact for key clients, gathering customer and market information to define customer strategies.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiation of contracts in cooperation with relevant departments, ensuring good contractual performance of key accounts.
  • Business Growth: Drive business growth through upselling and cross-selling, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring alignment with regional strategy.
  • Client Initiatives: Work on regional client initiatives and the implementation of the regional account plan, collecting relevant information about sourcing events.
  • Service Requirements: Provide service requirements based on direct customer feedback to assist in vendor qualification and selection.
  • Commercial Feedback: Provide commercial feedback for pricing/rate negotiation with vendors, maintaining and providing statistical data and designated KPI performance.
  • Administrative Functions: Complete administrative functions in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of expertise and knowledge of products and services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in sales in the logistics industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics, or related field is a plus.
  • Must exemplify professionalism and leadership qualities with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a dependable automobile, and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
