Job Summary

The Strategic Sales Representative will serve as the primary contact and account owner for assigned strategic accounts across both business units – Glass and Metal. This role will focus on expanding and retaining strategic accounts, identifying opportunities for product cross-sell, and driving customer coverage activities to increase the likelihood of renewals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact and account owner for assigned strategic accounts, focusing on total sales revenue and booked margin growth.
  • Identify opportunities to expand and retain strategic accounts and opportunities for product cross-sell.
  • Drive customer coverage activities consistently and actively to increase the likelihood of renewals, including in-person meetings, email/phone follow-ups, and providing guidance.
  • Engage estimators for support in quoting customer projects once qualified and requirements are determined.
  • Engage product specialists when customer projects require additional technical expertise and support.
  • Facilitate seamless hand-off from customer success to execute product adoption.
  • Re-engage customers during expansion and renewal.
  • Log and track customer interactions, activities, manage sales pipeline, and reporting in CRM.
  • Strategically promote and sell a full range of industry-leading products and company value in complex selling cycles.
  • Employ all available resources to deliver an unparalleled customer experience.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or a related industry.
  • Experience working with large, complex organizations preferred.
  • Results-oriented, ensuring delivery on existing commitments while continuously delivering an unparalleled customer experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to all levels of an organization.
  • Customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter attitude and results-focused.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Requirements

  • Reside in the Southwest region (AZ, NM, NV, TX).
  • Manage multiple high-value strategic accounts.
  • 60-75% travel required, with some air travel possible.
