JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Account Executive at Oil States Industries, Inc.
The Regional Sales Account Executive position is dedicated to enhancing profitable sales of standard connector solutions across the Americas, with a focus on key markets including Guyana, Suriname, and Mexico. This role entails overseeing significant client accounts, ensuring excellence in service delivery, and requires approximately 30% - 40% travel each month to various regions including Canada, Guyana, Mexico, Suriname, Trinidad, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing both new and established customer accounts
- Advocating for products and delivering technical support
- Providing insights into customer technology requirements for product development
- Participating in events to enhance the company’s visibility
- Generating sales reports and upholding quality benchmarks
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and nurturing customer relationships
- Evaluating competitors' market presence and pricing strategies
- Utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook effectively
- Exhibiting flexibility and readiness to travel
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
- A minimum of five years of sales experience in offshore engineering
- Strong understanding of connector products and a proven track record in sales
- Experience working with international clients, particularly in Mexico and South America
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient use of computers and office equipment
- Regularly sitting, standing, walking, and driving
- Engaging in moderate physical activities such as bending and lifting
- Travel obligations, including some international journeys
