About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to lead our HR function and drive business transformation. As the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the President to drive business transformation and lead HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation, and business transformation projects.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support our company's growth and success.
  • Lead HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation, and business transformation projects.
  • Manage and develop employee compensation/reward and recognition programs, driving pay-for-performance culture aligned with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of leader ownership and accountability of the employee life cycle.
Requirements

We are looking for a mature and business-minded human resources professional with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible human resources experience, preferably in a B2C environment. Five of those years must have been in a leadership role. SPHR or PHR certification and/or other progressive continuing education in an HR field is valued.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Understanding of, and some experience with, most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training)
  • Demonstrated knowledge within B2C
  • Experience within Fortune 500 and/or internationally focused organizations
  • Executive acumen with excellent communication, presentation, negotiating and coaching skills
  • Sound strategic, financial and talent planning abilities
  • Be a self-manager with high personal initiative and possess the proven ability to initiate efforts to expand the impact of the role and the department's ability to deliver against the organization's goals and strategic priorities
  • Possess the ability to think strategically and conceptually, as well as possess the detail orientation and multi-tasking abilities necessary to effectively implement plans
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on collaboration that drives results

Education

This position requires a bachelor's degree. An MBA or a master's degree in Labor Relations, or Human Resources Management preferred.
