Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to join our client, a global consumer healthcare products company. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR function and driving business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the President to drive business transformation and lead the HR function in achieving strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement talent management processes, including acquisition, assessment, performance management, employee development, succession planning, and retention.
  • Manage and develop employee compensation and reward programs, driving a pay-for-performance culture aligned with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of leader ownership and accountability of the employee life cycle.
  • Serve as the strategic HR leader on current and future trends in areas such as talent, culture, and external implications.
  • Drive innovation towards the future by supporting employees in different countries around the world.
  • Provide strategic guidance to Plant HR leaders and set up the plants for continued success and sustainability.
  • Partner with functional leaders to build a talent strategy, ensuring the Company has the right succession of talent to achieve long-term goals.
  • Ensure all leaders understand their roles as talent generators and focus on the success of talent from recruitment, onboarding, promoting, and retention.
  • Maintain and support relationship building to drive talent management and effectively manage in a matrix structure to enable high growth and profitability.
  • Optimize organizational design methodology to focus on continuous improvement and organizational efficiencies with clear orientation towards the future of the workforce.
  • Leverage the Company's value proposition to brand and enhance total company results.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure proper accruals and forecast for employee costs/reporting.
  • Leverage centers of excellence to build tools and expertise across teams supported.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible human resources experience, preferably in a B2C environment.
  • Five years of experience in a leadership role.
  • SPHR or PHR certification and/or other progressive continuing education in an HR field is valued.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Human Resource Management, including staffing, employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and training.
  • Demonstrated knowledge within B2C.
  • Experience within Fortune 500 and/or internationally focused organizations.
  • Executive acumen with excellent communication, presentation, negotiating, and coaching skills.
  • Sound strategic, financial, and talent planning abilities.
  • A self-manager with high personal initiative and the proven ability to initiate efforts to expand the impact of the role and the department's ability to deliver against the organization's goals and strategic priorities.
  • The ability to think strategically and conceptually, as well as possess the detail orientation and multi-tasking abilities necessary to effectively implement plans.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on collaboration that drives results.

Education

A bachelor's degree is required. An MBA or a master's degree in Labor Relations or Human Resources Management is preferred.
