Hospitality Support Associate

Position Summary:
The Food and Beverage Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting servers by ensuring timely delivery and removal of food and drink items. This position requires a friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues, adherence to safety protocols, and a good understanding of the vessel and its surroundings.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, and embody the principles of our RESPECT Service System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding hospitality to guests and team members as outlined in our Respect Service System (RSS).
- Serve water, coffee, tea, and bread to guests throughout their dining experience.
- Clear used dishes and glassware from tables to the galley.
- Organize and transport dirty dishes and tableware for cleaning.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in all common areas and service stations; promptly address spills and remove trash.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas and service stations, which may involve moving furniture.
- Provide guests with information about menu items, service procedures, entertainment options, and points of interest.
- Arrive on time and ready to work as scheduled.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
- Help greet and seat guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must meet state minimum age requirements.
- Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude is essential.
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with guests and team members.
- Strong service orientation with a proactive approach to assisting others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items, including furniture.
- Availability to work on major holidays is required.
