Guest Services Representative

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to guests at all times.
- Welcome and register guests, providing room assignments and accommodating special requests when feasible.
- Possess a thorough understanding of reservation processes, including taking reservations and managing cancellations.
- Efficiently handle guest check-ins and checkouts in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ensure all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each shift, adhering to company cash handling policies.
- Communicate special requests, late checkouts, and specific needs to the housekeeping team.
- Receive and relay mail, phone calls, and written messages for guests.
- Respond to inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, dining options, and travel directions.
- Process room charges, food and beverage expenses, and other guest bills using the Property Management System (PMS), collecting payments and providing change as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk area, free from safety hazards.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, staff, services, room types, rates, and promotional offers.
- Be well-versed in loyalty programs and their benefits.
- Exhibit proper telephone etiquette.
- Develop a solid understanding of emergency procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- Proficiency in computer systems.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
