Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service to guests at all times.
  • Welcome and register guests, providing room assignments and accommodating special requests when feasible.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of reservation processes, including taking reservations and managing cancellations.
  • Efficiently handle guest check-ins and checkouts in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each shift, adhering to company cash handling policies.
  • Communicate special requests, late checkouts, and specific needs to the housekeeping team.
  • Receive and relay mail, phone calls, and written messages for guests.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, dining options, and travel directions.
  • Process room charges, food and beverage expenses, and other guest bills using the Property Management System (PMS), collecting payments and providing change as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk area, free from safety hazards.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, staff, services, room types, rates, and promotional offers.
  • Be well-versed in loyalty programs and their benefits.
  • Exhibit proper telephone etiquette.
  • Develop a solid understanding of emergency procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in computer systems.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
