Position Overview:
This role is vital for the effectiveness of our retail operations. Customer Support Associates collaborate closely with both wholesale and retail clients to identify their requirements, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions. They are also responsible for swiftly resolving any client issues to ensure optimal satisfaction while keeping abreast of product features and maintaining the high standards of quality and presentation within the store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service.
  • Assist clients in person and via phone by assessing their needs and recommending relevant products and services.
  • Establish and nurture trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Achieve sales targets consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain accurate work order documentation and formulas.
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products according to customer specifications when necessary.
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays effectively.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Support delivery operations as required.
  • Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about available products and discuss options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory management protocols.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future.
  • Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Previous experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish is desirable.
