Your Role:
The Lead Automation Solutions Engineer will engage in the research, development, design, and construction of automated systems and applications aimed at minimizing human intervention and enhancing operational efficiency across IT and OT domains.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to uncover technological solutions to complex challenges.
- Develop tailored automation solutions that align with business objectives.
- Implement enhancements to existing automated systems and applications, demonstrating measurable improvements in performance and quality.
- Program, configure, and integrate cutting-edge technology into current systems and applications.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Oversee all phases of test automation, ensuring thorough planning and execution.
- Prepare analytical reports that highlight trends and insights related to automation initiatives.
- Document processes for internal automation and development projects.
- Address escalated issues from clients, ensuring swift resolutions.
- Participate actively in design and code reviews to maintain high standards.
- Work closely with clients to optimize automation performance, achieving set KPIs.
- Assist in resource planning and scheduling for testing activities.
- Lead audits of existing lab processes to identify further automation opportunities.
- Develop and execute performance testing scripts tailored to business needs.
- Spearhead the creation of robust continuous integration and delivery automation pipelines.
- Conduct test execution for both project-related and support activities.
- Explore and implement innovative automation strategies.
- Mentor junior team members and establish automation standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with Ignition SCADA in industrial automation settings.
- Advanced knowledge of SCADA design, deployment, and testing methodologies.
- Strong project management skills and understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily remote, requiring a reliable internet connection and the ability to occasionally work on-site. Candidates must be prepared for 24/7 support responsibilities and may need to travel as necessary.
