Overview:

Lorven Technologies Inc. is seeking a talented Generative AI Engineer for a long-term project. This role demands a multifaceted individual with a robust engineering background, capable of navigating diverse challenges in the field of Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement resilient infrastructure to support Generative AI reference architecture (RAG, Summarization, Agent, etc.).
  • Guarantee the delivery of secure code by enforcing best engineering practices and conducting thorough code scans.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, along with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CodePipeline, uDeploy, and GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate with shared service teams, including Architecture, Cloud, and Security, to devise and execute platform solutions.
  • Work alongside the Data Science team to create a self-service internal developer platform for Generative AI.
  • Architect and construct data ingestion pipelines for fine-tuning large language models (LLMs).
  • Establish templates (Architecture As Code) that reflect the topology of reference architecture applications.
  • Develop a feedback mechanism utilizing Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) for supervised fine-tuning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Over 4 years of experience with AWS cloud services.
  • At least 8 years of experience in designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing.
  • 8+ years of experience in developing and deploying software and/or platform infrastructure solutions for enterprises.
  • Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment methodologies, with a strong grasp of Agile practices.
  • Experience in building scalable serverless applications on the AWS stack (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions).
  • Familiarity with distributed NoSQL database systems.
  • Experience in data engineering, ETL technologies, and conversational UX is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of high-performance computing (HPC), vector embedding, and hybrid/semantic search technologies.
  • Experience with AWS OpenSearch, Step/Lambda Functions, SageMaker, API Gateways, and ECS/Docker is a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
  • Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks such as Langchain and LlamaIndex.
  • Foundational knowledge of Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning principles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
