Position Overview:
The Lead Engineer - System Protection & Control is responsible for overseeing a team of internal engineers and external contractors. This role reports directly to the Manager of Protection & Relaying and plays a crucial part in establishing policies, procedures, and documentation standards to enhance engineering activities for electric transmission and substation system protection.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and guide engineering teams to ensure safe, timely, and efficient operations of electric transmission systems.
- Act as a key advisor to senior management and represent the company in external engagements.
- Oversee the design, configuration, maintenance, and renewal of automation and protection systems across various subsidiaries.

Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, with at least 4 years focused on Protection & Control.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of power system analysis and equipment protection fundamentals.

Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in power system protection theory, design, and analysis.

Major Duties:
- Conduct engineering design and analysis for electric transmission and substation protection systems.
- Review and approve protection system designs and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Develop technical specifications and manage departmental budgets.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Professional Engineer registration or the ability to obtain certification.
