Key Qualifications:

  2. Deep understanding of cloud governance and compliance
  3. Robust background in software development

Role Responsibilities:

The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • Engaging in hands-on technical development of the Azure platform
  • Establishing and sustaining the Azure Landing Zone framework
  • Automating the structure and provisioning of Azure USGov accounts
  • Managing and automating Azure Active Directory (AAD)
  • Integrating and automating network and network security solutions
  • Implementing centralized logging and monitoring systems
  • Defining controls and guardrails for various services
  • Documenting service architecture and creating implementation guides for application teams
  • Establishing technical control points and automating configuration and remediation processes
  • Evaluating services against policy and NIST control requirements and addressing any gaps
  • Consolidating audit logs and identifying patterns in security incidents
  • Creating Terraform modules and/or Ansible Playbooks for standardized lifecycle management
  • Developing event-driven automation for post-provisioning configuration and remediation
  • Designing least-privileged custom roles
  • Integrating with core systems such as identity, networks, DDI, network security, incident response, and ITIL
  • Implementing solutions for VM and container management along with automation
