Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Automation Testing Engineer who will lead the design, development, implementation, and upkeep of automated testing frameworks for both UI and API. This role involves collaboration with Architecture, Business Users, Development, and QA Engineers to guarantee comprehensive testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality. The successful candidate will deliver effective and efficient technical solutions while meeting project milestones and adhering to development and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with architecture teams and understand the advantages of standards, best practices, and principles from both technological and procedural perspectives. Communicate complex technical solutions to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical, in various settings. Ensure timely completion of UI, API, and/or Stress/Performance automation testing activities across multiple projects, driving tasks and milestones within defined project plans. Maintain a thorough understanding of current test automation processes and best practices to ensure all QA activities are performed accordingly. Participate in waterfall, agile, and CI/CD methodologies. Provide estimates and forecast resource requirements for automation projects, focusing on return on investment. Establish and track metrics that measure productivity, test progress, and QA effectiveness, contributing to root cause analysis and lessons learned sessions. Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies in the test automation process. Design and implement complex, multi-tier solutions using Object-Oriented Principles and modern design patterns. Mentor and coach less experienced automation engineers.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing, Development, and/or Test Management, with a focus on advanced test automation strategies. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, .NET, SQL, and experience with both UI and REST API automation. Familiarity with mobile automation and performance testing tools is a plus. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and time management skills. Experience with AGILE and DevOps CI/CD methodologies. Knowledge of various testing methods/tools, including MS Test, TestNG, JUnit/NUnit, GIT, and Selenium WebDriver. Ability to independently resolve complex multi-tier issues. Awareness of current trends in automation and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts. Effective communication skills to convey testing results and implications to business leadership and IT teams. A college degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Salary range: $104,000 - $150,000, based on geographic location and candidate qualifications.
