About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Director of Human Resources to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant/bar, developing and implementing strategies to improve profitability, and ensuring guest satisfaction in accordance with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve F&B outlet profitability
  • Ensure guest satisfaction in accordance with hotel standards
  • Work closely with the food and beverage/culinary team and employees to successfully execute all restaurant operations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and hotel or company policies and procedures
  • Research and investigate workplace issues to identify potential risks and facilitate resolution
  • Collect and maintain data from exit interviews, turnover statistics, and absenteeism reports to identify trends and training needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification
  • ~4 years' of related experience in HR
  • Professional HR designation preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all HR-related matters
  • Must speak local language(s)
  • Other languages preferred
