Job Overview

The Pro Services Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing comprehensive training programs for apprentices and current employees within the company. This role involves coordinating various training activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external training standards, and managing training-related administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Task Oversight
    • Manage and oversee the Department of Labor (DOL) RAPIDS system, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of apprenticeship data.
    • Handle ADP (payroll), MEA (apprenticeship management), and hour tracking systems, ensuring precise data entry and reporting.
    • Administer bonus programs, expense reporting, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the training department.
  2. Pro U Coordination
    • Coordinate the Pro U training schedule, including class and instructor assignments.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to scheduling conflicts, instructor availability, and resource allocation.
    • Communicate with instructors and trainees to ensure smooth operation of training sessions.
  3. Apprentice Tracking System Management
    • Maintain and manage the Apprentice Tracking System, ensuring all apprentice data is up-to-date and accurate.
    • Generate reports and provide insights to management on apprentice progress and program effectiveness.
  4. External Apprentice Program Scheduling and Compliance
    • Schedule and coordinate external apprentice programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
    • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.
  5. Internal Apprentice Program Scheduling and Compliance
    • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of internal apprentice programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
    • Work closely with department heads to align training schedules with operational needs.
  6. Advanced Training Coordination for Current Employees (non-DOL apprentice)
    • Coordinate advanced technical training programs for current employees, including scheduling, resource allocation, and follow-up.
    • Ensure that all advanced training sessions are aligned with employee development goals and company objectives.
  7. Advanced Training Coordination for Customer Employees (non-DOL apprentice)
    • Coordinate advanced technical training programs for customer employees, including scheduling, resource allocation, and follow-up.
    • Ensure that all advanced training sessions are aligned with employee development goals and company objectives.
  8. Training Material and Divisional Document Management and Control
    • Participate in the development of training material, coordinate subject matter experts, and compile information into deliverable format.
    • Participate in the development of a file management system for training material and manage the ongoing expansion of the system.
    • Coordinate and manage the distribution of training materials for internal and external training support to Delta techs and field training resources.
    • Coordinate and manage the distribution of mobile training gear for supporting labs for internal and external training support to Delta techs and field training resources.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent training coordinator experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in training coordination, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office or G Suite Tools.
    • Proficiency in Data Base Systems.
    • Proficiency in training management systems, preferred exposure to DOL RAPIDS, ADP, and LMS systems.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
