Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator in developing and implementing activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the activities team to plan and execute regularly scheduled activities, including life skills training and social events.
  • Maintain a safe and organized inventory of activity supplies and materials.
  • Ensure the timely posting of activity schedules and updates.
  • Accompany residents on outings and provide transportation using our community shuttle bus.
  • Assist residents with getting on and off the bus, utilizing the appropriate and safest mode for assistance.
  • Present a professional appearance and maintain a positive attitude that supports team performance and productivity.
Requirements
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards the senior population.
  • One to three years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in general computer skills and ability to learn new software.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing for long periods of time and frequent interaction with residents, staff, and visitors. The employee is required to communicate effectively, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle equipment and objects. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
