Position Overview: The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance professionals tasked with executing corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance on various operational equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering skills development and enhancing team performance.
  • Plan, organize, and manage daily departmental operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards, addressing any discrepancies or budgetary issues as they arise.
  • Communicate expectations regarding quality and safety in maintenance tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Implement best practices for maintenance procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion of scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee the utilization of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and processing work orders.
  • Provide technical guidance in the maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct quality audits of technician performance and communicate findings for continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency within the maintenance framework.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for maintenance supplies and services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in a relevant field such as electrical or mechanical engineering technology is preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of two years of industrial maintenance experience is required, along with additional experience in people management or maintenance support.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience leading project teams or supervising staff.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with all levels of management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
