Position Responsibilities:
As the Maintenance Team Supervisor, you will:
  • Guide and support the implementation of our Reliability Excellence Program.
  • Initiate and oversee preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Coordinate maintenance repairs and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication across maintenance shifts regarding scheduling and projects.
  • Encourage team participation to resolve recurring challenges.
  • Manage all first shift maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Coordinator to address team member concerns.
  • Lead training and development initiatives for the maintenance team.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts related to equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will also:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of skilled maintenance technicians.
  • Ensure adherence to planned work schedules and preventative maintenance protocols.
  • Engage in root cause analysis to implement effective solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Set priorities and provide guidance to team members as needed.
  • Identify skill gaps and develop team members to address these needs.
  • Foster an innovative and problem-solving atmosphere within the team.
  • Enhance team dynamics and participation.
  • Promote a culture that makes our organization a great place to work.
  • Act as a change agent to improve performance and outcomes.
  • Support team members in achieving their career aspirations.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to drive enhancements.
  • Ensure accurate coaching and timekeeping practices.
  • Research necessary parts for repairs and manage inventory effectively.
  • Serve as the primary contact for facility maintenance during your assigned shift.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Coordinator.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A Technical Diploma in Industrial Maintenance Technology or a related technical field (Experience will be considered for internal candidates).
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline is advantageous.

Experience:
We require:
  • A minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience (experience in the food industry is a plus).
  • Previous technical team leadership experience is preferred.
