Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Operations Supervisor, you will:
  • Implement and oversee the plant's preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to guarantee optimal performance of bakery machinery and processes.
  • Organize, direct, and manage the activities of Mechanics through the plant's PM program.
  • Provide expert technical assistance for controls, electrical, and mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Track Maintenance KPIs and PM system reports, utilizing these insights to initiate corrective actions for enhanced maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications:
We require:
  • Adherence to maintenance protocols in accordance with company policies and standards.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise and potential hazards.
  • Capability to operate in an environment with flour dust.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English to comprehend and follow safety and work instructions.
  • Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Education and Experience:
Ideal candidates will possess:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A Technical or BA degree in a relevant field or completion of an AIB Maintenance Correspondence Course is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the food sector.
  • A combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating competency in the role may be accepted.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems is a plus.
  • Operational experience with electrical circuitry and repair of bread and roll production equipment.
  • Familiarity with refrigeration and fuel-burning equipment is essential.
  • Computer literacy and experience in building, developing, and leading teams.
  • The ability to identify various components and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, instructions, gauges, and meters.
