Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Operations Supervisor, you will:
- Implement and oversee the plant's preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to guarantee optimal performance of bakery machinery and processes.
- Organize, direct, and manage the activities of Mechanics through the plant's PM program.
- Provide expert technical assistance for controls, electrical, and mechanical systems and equipment.
- Track Maintenance KPIs and PM system reports, utilizing these insights to initiate corrective actions for enhanced maintenance efficiency.
Qualifications:
We require:
- Adherence to maintenance protocols in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise and potential hazards.
- Capability to operate in an environment with flour dust.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English to comprehend and follow safety and work instructions.
- Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Education and Experience:
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- A Technical or BA degree in a relevant field or completion of an AIB Maintenance Correspondence Course is advantageous.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the food sector.
- A combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating competency in the role may be accepted.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems is a plus.
- Operational experience with electrical circuitry and repair of bread and roll production equipment.
- Familiarity with refrigeration and fuel-burning equipment is essential.
- Computer literacy and experience in building, developing, and leading teams.
- The ability to identify various components and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, instructions, gauges, and meters.
