Job Title: SIC Millwright Foreman

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Millwright Foreman to oversee a project in DeSoto, KS. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of mechanical tasks while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned craft personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, blueprints, and job orders relevant to the area of supervision.
  • Communicate company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations.
  • Establish and modify work sequences to align with project schedules, utilizing knowledge of equipment capacities and workforce capabilities.
  • Assess schedules and estimate labor requirements for job completion.
  • Identify and resolve work-related issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate time records for all personnel.
  • Operate within precise standards of accuracy.
  • Make informed decisions based on measurable data.
  • Recognize and respond to hazardous conditions or situations promptly.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of the work environment, tools, and equipment to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Possess appropriate journeyman experience.
  • Exhibit regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Be prepared for potential travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Complete all safety and job training as mandated by the company.
  • Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures consistently.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively utilize all required personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Work conditions may include office environments, shops, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped properties, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather.
  • Capability to safely access all areas of property, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
  • Physical demands are significant, requiring the ability to perform essential functions safely.
  • Must be able to operate all necessary equipment and tools safely.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend frequently, and work in confined spaces with limited access.
