The Salix Regional Sales Executive is accountable for promoting the organization's product(s) within a designated territory or significant geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit proficient selling techniques and effective execution by strategically allocating resources to achieve outcomes.
  • Establish strong customer relationships and leverage these connections to drive performance.
  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge of business analytics, including customer data, resources, and tools.
  • Formulate and implement account and territory strategies.
  • Utilize available data to identify and engage with the most valuable accounts.
  • Showcase expertise across the product range, therapeutic areas, and managed care.
  • Efficiently manage territory by regularly analyzing data to target high-prescribing healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations on the organization's products to targeted HCPs.
  • Achieve or surpass established call averages and sales performance metrics.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor products relevant to the product portfolio.
  • Understand and apply clinical and disease state knowledge and its implications for patients and providers.
  • Complete all administrative duties promptly.
  • Participate in various sales training sessions, sales meetings, and national/regional conferences.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of business-to-business sales experience preferred, with a proven track record of success.
  • Prior experience in Pharmaceutical Sales is strongly preferred.
  • Must reside in or near the assigned territory.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required to operate a company vehicle.
  • Overnight travel may be necessary for this position.
  • Strong business acumen, teamwork, collaboration, accountability, tenacity, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to drive long distances in a geographically expansive territory.
  • Physical ability to lift sample boxes weighing up to 25 pounds; reasonable accommodations can be arranged if needed.
  • Willingness to perform other job-related duties as assigned.
