Job Overview

This position plays a crucial role in the success of Startouch One Corp by overseeing a team of retail associates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. The supervisor is expected to consistently exercise discretion in managing the daily operations of the store. A significant portion of the role involves guiding and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions (including hiring, training, evaluating, and scheduling), ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining product quality, managing financial performance, and upholding safety and security standards within the store. The individual is responsible for embodying and promoting the core values of Startouch One Corp.


Key Responsibilities

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Leadership:
    • Establishing objectives for the team, enhancing organizational capability, and exemplifying collaborative work practices.
    • Maintaining composure during peak periods or unexpected events and facilitating smooth transitions to uphold operational standards.
    • Fostering a customer-first mindset by training and holding team members accountable for delivering outstanding customer service.
    • Implementing company initiatives by creating actionable plans and motivating the team to achieve operational and organizational goals.
    • Leading with integrity and knowledge that reinforces the culture, values, and mission of Startouch One Corp.
    • Identifying, communicating, and delegating appropriate responsibilities to ensure seamless operations.
    • Providing guidance and support to the team to take proactive measures in achieving operational objectives, while continuously assessing the store environment and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

Business Requirements

Delivering functional expertise and executing responsibilities includes:

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws for nonexempt employees.
  • Gathering customer feedback to better understand their needs and those of the local community.
  • Utilizing operational tools to plan for and attain excellence in store performance.
  • Employing management information systems and analyzing financial reports to identify and address trends and challenges in store performance.
Experience Requirements
  • Progressively responsible experience in retail management.
  • Minimum of 3 years in supervisory roles.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial report analysis.
