- Ensures adherence to and completion of all daily operational protocols set by the Food and Beverage Division.
- Maintains safety and quality standards for food and beverages in accordance with hotel, Shaner, and Franchise guidelines.
- Facilitates communication with the General Manager, other Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
Efficiently take food and beverage orders, deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and serve food to guests in alignment with hotel standards. Process payments and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and equipment.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a comparable role involving customer interaction.
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Effective communication skills to interact satisfactorily with guests, management, and colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- ServSafe certification and/or food safety training required.
- Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS) is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
- Familiarity with local attractions and activities suitable for guests.
