Position Summary:
- Responsibilities encompass the assessment, diagnosis, repair, and replacement of various components and accessories for automobiles and light-duty trucks.
- Execute fluid exchanges, comprehensive inspections, and maintenance tasks, including brake assessments, battery checks, and electronic system evaluations.
- Undertake a range of additional responsibilities such as replacing wiper blades, bulbs, and conducting test drives.
- Emphasize the importance of nurturing customer relationships and addressing their immediate and future automotive needs.
- Effectively communicate vehicle issues and recommended solutions to customers and/or supervisors.
- Maintain a tidy and secure working environment.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to identify the root causes of customer concerns and provide precise repair suggestions.
- Perform all facets of automotive maintenance and repair, including computer diagnostics, engine servicing, cooling system repairs, and emissions system work.
- Stay informed about the latest industry best practices in automotive repair through ongoing education and training.
- Carry out necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to ensure quality service.
- Keep accurate and organized documentation for both customer records and internal use.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote equipment longevity and workplace safety.
- Capable of generating estimates and advising customers on required repairs and maintenance.
- Previous automotive repair experience in a professional setting is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Adhere to company protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
