Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational procedures set forth by the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage safety and quality in accordance with hotel and franchise specifications.
  • Uphold safety standards and procedures within the workplace.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns related to the bar service.
  • Communicate effectively with the General Manager, department managers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • ServSafe certification or food safety training is advantageous.
  • Completion of alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS) is preferred.
  • Understanding of food and beverage cost management.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and activities suitable for guests.
