Job Overview

As a Culinary Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will guide the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with local health and sanitation regulations, as well as hotel policies.
  • Be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of kitchen equipment and its proper usage.
  • Develop, implement, and train staff on operational standards and safety protocols.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and performance management of kitchen personnel.
  • Address guest feedback and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Essential Duties

Plan, prepare, and present high-quality menu items and specials, adhering to established standards. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience in a culinary role, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus.
  • Valid food safety certification.
  • Ability to interpret various documents, including safety guidelines and operational manuals.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
