We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Food and Beverage Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Adherence to all daily operational procedures set forth by the Food and Beverage Department.
- Upholding food and beverage safety and quality in line with hotel and franchise specifications.
- Effective communication with the General Manager, Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Service Duties
Responsible for taking food and beverage orders, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and delivering food to guest tables according to hotel standards. Collect payments and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area and equipment.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a similar role with public interaction.
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- ServSafe certification and/or food safety training.
- Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Familiarity with local attractions and activities suitable for guests.
