Aero ISR Business Development Manager

Viasat is a leading provider of satellite-based communications solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in the Aero ISR sector.
Job SummaryThe Business Development Manager for Aero ISR will be responsible for identifying and pursuing opportunities with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and integration partners. This role requires a deep understanding of the Aero ISR market, strong relationships within the industry, and the ability to develop and execute strategies that align with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Capitalise and build on OEMs, MROs and Integrators customer relationships to position Viasat aero ISR capability and services.
- Prioritise the market in accordance with the strategy and capability fit.
- Establish relationships with current and future OEMs, integrators and partners to position Viasat capability / influence future procurements.
- Build and manage partner agreements with OEMs globally.
- Find and drive to close Aero satcom deals.
- Build and manage Viasat International Government qualified aero pipeline globally.
- Prior experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the Aero ISR industry.
- Proven track record of successful sales and partnership development with OEMs and system integrators in the aerospace and defense sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing competitive proposals, including R&D.
- Ability to travel.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- US Citizenship.
- Active or able to obtain US Secret Clearance.
Viasat offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $131,400.00 - $228,500.00 / annually, as well as additional cash or stock incentives, medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
