Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and caring Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting, conducting repairs, and cleaning.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Local community outreach, including health fairs and developing physician relationships, to represent HearingLife as an advocate for making a life-changing difference.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories, maintaining a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets, working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinics' financial KPIs.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives to expand patient care and product portfolio, including conducting hearing tests, coaching, and educating patients on hearing aid devices.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
  • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and interpret results, communicate test results, and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients.
Requirements
  • Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements.
  • 2+ years of Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.
