Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team at Frontier Management (OR). As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing educational support to students who require additional assistance in academic, social, or behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Holds a caseload of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provides supplementary instruction beyond classroom instruction.
- Pulls out or assists students in the classroom with targeted interventions and develops lesson plans to meet their needs.
- Evaluates student progress and designs and prepares progress reports to track their growth.
- Collaborates with school staff to identify students who require support and communicates regularly with classroom teachers to ensure a cohesive approach to instruction.
- Develops and implements effective lesson plans to address the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Stays up-to-date with current best practices in reading and math instruction and participates in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
