Position Overview:

The Field Training Audiologist plays a crucial role in enhancing sales and profitability by delivering comprehensive product and software training aimed at boosting customer understanding, skills, and familiarity with the ReSound product offerings. This role also encompasses providing audiological assistance, including hearing aid fittings and troubleshooting support, to drive changes in purchasing behavior among clients. Additionally, the position involves training ReSound personnel in audiology, technical aspects, and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate essential account details to sales and management teams.
  • Deliver consistent and high-quality training sessions for customers.
  • Support the sales of all products within a designated area, collaborating closely with assigned sales teams.
  • Conduct needs assessments and propose suitable training solutions for accounts.
  • Represent GN Group at national, state, and regional events.
  • Participate in key events such as Consumer Education Seminars, Open Houses, and CEU Seminars, along with ongoing in-clinic product training.
  • Play a significant role in the promotion and demonstration of products during launch training sessions.
  • Provide consultative resources to foster business growth.
  • Independently manage travel arrangements in line with corporate guidelines to optimize effectiveness and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records, including expense reports, adhering to corporate guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Technical Support, and Research & Development to ensure a superior customer experience.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of training materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Doctorate (AuD or PhD) in Audiology; a Master's Degree in Audiology may be considered.
  • Current state licensure in Audiology.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in hearing aid dispensing (post-externship).
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time (averaging 3-4 days per week).

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent travel by air, automobile, and train.

Work Environment:

This is a field-based position.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 15 lbs, with activities including sitting, walking, and standing.

Position Type:

This is a salaried position with a standard workweek of Monday to Friday, though evening commitments may occasionally be required.
