Position Overview

The Field Training Audiologist plays a vital role in enhancing sales and profitability by delivering comprehensive product and software training aimed at elevating customer understanding, skills, and familiarity with the ReSound product offerings. This role also encompasses providing audiological support, including hearing aid fittings and troubleshooting, to influence customer purchasing decisions. Additionally, the position involves training ReSound employees in audiology, technical aspects, and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular communication regarding relevant account details with sales and management teams.
  • Provide high-quality, consistent training to customers.
  • Support the sales of all products within a designated region, collaborating closely with assigned sales teams.
  • Conduct needs assessments and deliver tailored training solutions for accounts.
  • Represent ReSound at national, state, and regional events.
  • Key events include Consumer Education Seminars, Open Houses, CEU Seminars, and ongoing in-clinic product training sessions.
  • Play a significant role in promoting and demonstrating products during launch training sessions.
  • Offer consultative resources to foster business growth.
  • Independently schedule travel in accordance with corporate guidelines to maximize effectiveness and cost efficiency while maintaining a full agenda.
  • Keep accurate administrative records, including expenses, following corporate guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Technical Support, and Research & Development to ensure a quality customer experience.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and/or creation of training content.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Desired Qualifications

Education:

  • AuD or PhD in Audiology; a Master's Degree in Audiology may be considered.
  • Current state license in Audiology.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in hearing aid dispensing (post externship).
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time (averaging 3-4 days per week).

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent travel by air, automobile, and train.
