Job Overview
Under minimal supervision, the Client Services Specialist II addresses inquiries from policyholders and agents, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Update beneficiary and address changes, and process forms requests in the database.
- Handle basic requests including policy provisions, changes, reinstatements, and withdrawal histories.
- Maintain compliance with company standards and manage customer files diligently.
- Address customer complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Resolve outstanding issues effectively.
- Calculate cash values, premium refunds, loan balances, and other related financial metrics as needed.
- Provide support for Client Services Representatives III when required.

Qualifications
- Must possess the ability to learn and apply tax regulations relevant to annuity and life policy distributions and modifications.
- Strong mathematical skills for complex calculations.
- Excellent organizational abilities and experience in public interaction.
- Proficient in customer service principles and practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and keyboarding skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of National Western Life products or similar offerings.
- Effective communication skills with customers via telephone.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years in a call center customer service or administrative role in a fast-paced environment; or an Associate's degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in the insurance sector is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications
- No specific licenses required.
- Completion of LOMA insurance courses I and II is mandatory within the first year of employment.

Work Environment
This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Regular attendance is essential, and overtime may be necessary during peak periods. The role requires frequent use of hands for handling tasks and effective communication skills.
