Role Purpose

The primary responsibility is to execute custodial maintenance tasks within a collaborative cleaning environment. Duties include specialized roles such as restroom, utility, light duty, and vacuum specialists. Represent Custodial Services positively while adhering to the scheduled shift hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning and porter services across university facilities, following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of entrances and public spaces, manage waste disposal, and utilize commercial cleaning equipment.
  • Regularly service and replenish restroom supplies throughout the day.
  • Secure facilities as per established protocols, ensuring compliance with access and key control procedures.
  • Assist in event setups and respond to custodial emergencies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding cleaning services and requests.
  • Conduct vehicle cleaning and maintenance as required.
  • Participate in team cleaning rotations, fulfilling various specialist roles.
Qualifications

Required: Minimum six months of experience in custodial, hospitality, environmental services, or related fields. Proven ability to follow instructions and maintain a stable work history. Strong attendance and communication skills are essential. Must possess a valid Class "C" Operator's Driver License.

Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent. More than six months of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment is advantageous.

Physical Tasks:
