Human Resources Generalist

Salary Range: $22.00 Hourly
Description:
Springmoor Retirement Living Community is seeking a Part-Time HR Coordinator to support Human Resources activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of HR experience with all functions of general Human Resources knowledge, including onboarding, benefits, and recruitment.
This is a Part-Time position, 20-25 hours per week, with work hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Human Resources Specialist's primary purpose is to support Human Resources activities, including:
- Leading recruitment, drug and background screening, onboarding, and orientation.
- Completing new hire paperwork, I9s, and updating the HRIS system to ensure complete employee files.
- Benefits administration, including support with open enrollment.
- Supporting HR Director initiatives to strengthen Springmoor's Culture with special projects, such as implementing training and updating staff on organization Human Resources policies, procedures, and regulations, and monitoring and evaluating human resources processes.
- Supporting recruitment goals to source nurses and other staff members by using social media, job fairs, career days, nursing schools, and other potential sources.
- Screens, interviews, and recommends qualified applicants, as directed; conducts background and reference checks.
- Performs post-employment and exit interviews, as necessary.
- Ensures employee personnel files are complete, and employee information is kept confidential.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all employee data.
- Serves as a backup to the HR Payroll Specialist.
- Updates employee information in a timely manner.
- Helps support the needs of Springmoor employees.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- A minimum High School diploma with a minimum of 1-2 years of Human Resource experience.
- Experience using Paycom (desired) or other HRIS software.
- At least two years of HR experience specializing in onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and onboarding orientations.
- Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations affecting Human Resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect, credibility, and integrity.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work within deadlines.
- Ability to comply and drive the Company's and departmental safety policies and procedures.
- Problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel.
