Job Overview

Key Objectives

  • Assist clients in maintaining an active and fulfilling lifestyle — mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally — through necessary support.
  • Carry out assigned responsibilities accurately and promptly, demonstrating adaptability to meet clients' needs.
  • Ensure client safety by monitoring their interactions, procedures, and daily activities.
  • Exhibit awareness and sensitivity to each client's discomfort, mobility limitations, and vulnerabilities, approaching every engagement with empathy.
  • Comply with organizational standards, policies, and procedures, along with applicable legal regulations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support clients with personal care tasks including bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and consumption, dressing, and mobility assistance.
  • Facilitate safe movement for clients.
  • Notify a supervisor or case coordinator of any changes in a client's physical state, behavior, or appearance.
  • Address routine client concerns, encourage healthy lifestyle choices, and provide companionship and guidance.
  • Record the services provided to clients in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a caregiving role.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
  • Strong judgment and proven ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Professional certifications such as CNA, LNA, or HHA.
