Responsibilities

The Employment Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting individuals to choose, secure, and maintain employment that aligns with their interests and skills. Our clientele, ranging from ages 22 to 55, may face unique challenges that require tailored support.

This role ensures a nurturing and structured environment, aiding individuals in developing essential social skills and coping strategies necessary for workplace readiness. The specialist will also focus on educating clients through the development and execution of personalized service plans, emphasizing community integration.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitating the establishment of valued community roles and personal connections
  • Completing all necessary documentation accurately
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals served
  • Implementing all service and behavior plans effectively


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record is required
  • Reliability, eagerness to learn, and openness to new experiences are essential
